| Tucson E.Mail Leads to a 50 Member Club! Tucson Tri Girls began as an informal email list for female triathletes seeking training partners. The email list was created in April, 2003. At the Tucson Triathlon, the club founders began to recognize familiar faces from past triathlons. Several women exchanged contact information and a small group was formed. They began cycling together regularly and they used the email list to coordinate their weekly rides. In May, they posted fliers at area bike shops and gyms to advertise the group. Very quickly, Tucson Tri Girls grew to more than 50 members. TUCSON TRI GIRLS WEBSITE |
